I came in from doing chores this morning and my eyelashes and eyebrows had frost on them. It’s COLD! The wind is blowing and the temps are -17 F. The sheep seem fine. The sun is shining and they are eating hay out in the yard. Their cozy fleeces must keep them very warm in this weather. The goats are hardy too, surprisingly. They are Alpines, so their genetics have them prepared for this type of cold.
My nasal passages are still defrosting.
